GROUND WORK CLINIC by RON CHOATE
On October 8 - 10, 2010 Windmill Stables held a ground working clinic taught by clinician Ron Choate from Claremore, OK. His background is breaking young horses by using Chris Cox, John Lyons and Clint Anderson methods. He has taken many week long clinics under these gentlemen's training. He teaches basic ground work techniques with horse and rider. Below are a few photos of our particiants at the clinic.
Ron had a great success with one young horse named Ebony. Ebony's owner bought her when she was barely 2 years old. As of this past weekend she had never had a rider on her back but after Ron worked with her for about 3 hours the owner was able saddle and mount her and ride her in the round pen. What a great achievement. Here is a photo of that success.
