Helve comes from a small country called Estonia. Her horse career started in 1992 when she started riding and taking care of horses. She started to take lessons from Estonia's top eventing riders. In 1996 she competed in the National Jumper's Competition, Pony Class and came in 4th place. She also competed in many other competitions around Estonia. She got married and moved to the USA in 2004. She started riding, training and taking care of race horses. From there Helve started working at Windmill Stables in August 2006 working inside the barn taking care of the horses. While working at the barn, started taking lesson from Amanda Stout. She competed in her first competition in the United States. In March, 2007, at Quail Run, she competed in the three day event competition and placed 5th. In May, 2007 she started teaching the beginner's basic horsemanship at Windmill Stables of Spring Park. She is also the Treasurer for High Rise Pony Club.

We are very fortunate to have her as part of our team. She loves teaching new students that have little or no training in basic riding/horsemanship. She believes strongly in students learning the basic's of horsemanship such as taking care of the horse physically, and mentally. She teaches that riding is only one part of horsemanship, that knowing nutrition, diseases, grooming, physical needs such as taking care of their hoofs, dental care, correct fitting of the tack and the list goes on is very important. She is a great addition to our barn.
