Schedule and Levels
of Instruction
Orientation/Practical
Sessions
For all new students at Windmill, there will be a orientation
the first week of the session. Also, in the event of weather
related cancellations, the instructor may opt for a theory/practical
lesson to be held in the barn.
Scheduling
As the schedule changes each session, students must reapply
for each session. We schedule time slots as the applications
are received.
Weather Related Cancellations
In the event lessons must be cancelled, your instructor will
call you to cancel and will reschedule with you.
Time Involved!
At Windmill we pride ourselves in offering the whole stable/riding
experience to our students. Inorder for the student to get
the maximum riding time from their lesson, they must be at
the stable at least 30 minutes ahead to tack, and 30 minutes
after to properly cool out their horse.
Level Advancement
Riding is a mental as well as physical activity. The learning
process is one of repetition. Levels may need to be
repeated before advancing.
Attire/Clothing
We require that each student at Windmill have their own breeches
or jodphurs, paddock boot or tall black boots, and their own
helmet. |
