My daughter enjoyed the Mini camp at Windmill Stables. They did activities like getting the horse ready, riding the horse and feeding the horses a special meal which the horses and the kids enjoyed. They got to paint rocks and horseshoes and eat their snack. I definitely recommend this experience for horseback riders!

Guidelines for Riding Camps

We aim to ensure a safe and fulfilling camp experience with clear guidelines. From age requirements to essential gear, we outline everything needed for a smooth and enjoyable camp experience.

Age Requirements
Camps are open to riders at least 7 years old who can ride a bicycle without assistance, ensuring appropriate skill levels.
Safety Gear
Campers must bring their own headgear, breeches/jodhpurs, chaps, and boots, although we can provide missing items if needed.
Weather Prep
Campers should pack clothing suitable for the weather, including rain gear and spare outfits, to stay comfortable and prepared.
Bring Snacks
It’s important for campers to bring their own snacks and a water bottle to stay nourished and hydrated throughout the day.

Attended the mini-camp and my little had a GREAT experience. She learned how to care for her horse as well as beginner riding techniques. The camp and facility were well run and organized. We will definitely look into future camps!
