Not sure if our riding academy is right for you? We recommend Try-It-Out: a 2-hour session covering tacking up, grooming, and guided riding instruction. Riders ages 7+ get hands-on horsemanship experience, helping you decide if riding lessons are perfect for you and your family. Only $150 per rider.
What to Expect
Your 2-Hour Session
Riders ages 7+ experience the full arc of a lesson: tacking up, mounted instruction, and proper cool-down.
- First 30 minutes focus on tacking up with beginner-friendly saddling and bridling instruction plus hands-on grooming
- Middle hour provides riding instruction with step-by-step coaching in essential skills like steering, stopping, and controlling pace
- Final 30 minutes cover untacking procedures, horse brushing, and learning proper cool-down routines after riding
