Not sure if our riding academy is right for your child? We recommend Try-It-Out - a 2-hour session covering tacking up, grooming, and guided riding instruction. Kids ages 7+ get hands-on horsemanship experience, helping you decide if riding lessons are perfect for your family. Only $150 per rider.
What to Expect
Your Child's 2-Hour Learning Journey
Young riders ages 7+ will experience every step of horseback riding through our structured three-part program. It focuses on every aspect of horsemanship, from initial tacking to riding and post-ride care.
- First 30 minutes focus on tacking up with child-appropriate saddling and bridling instruction plus hands-on grooming
- Middle hour provides riding instruction with step-by-step coaching in essential skills like steering, stopping, and controlling pace
- Final 30 minutes cover untacking procedures, horse brushing, and learning proper cool-down routines after riding
